Mihoko Matsubara is Chief Cybersecurity Strategist, NTT Corporation, Tokyo, being responsible for cybersecurity thought leadership. Dr. Kubota is an ophthalmologist by training and spent his early career performing ocular research at Keio University, where he earned his MD and PhD in medicine. Dr. Furukawa joined the NIRS (National Institute of Radiological Sciences) as a student then has been involved not only in the design and development of particle therapy systems but also in numerous treatment operations. Ms.Mabuchi graduated from the Kyoto University of Government in 2011. She manages the assets of medical corporations as a trader. After that, she changed jobs to an analyst at FISCO Inc. She also works for JCC Inc, which helps startup raise money as Equity Crowd Funding Analys and marketing.
Dr. Katsuya Tsuchihara graduated from Kanazawa University School of Medicine in 1993 (M.D.) and Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2000 (Ph.D.). After working at the Ontario Cancer Institute at the University of Toronto, he was appointed Head of the Research Center for Innovative Oncology at the National Cancer Center Hospital East in 2005 and Chief of the Exploratory Oncology Research and Clinical Trial Center at the National Cancer Center in 2013. He is also a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Frontier Sciences and the Tokyo University of Science Graduate School of Biological Sciences. He is engaged in translational research that links basic research to clinical practice. He aims to create a Japan-originated research and development platform that can meet the needs of more holistic and individualized cancer treatment.
Richard Cassidy and his team are collaborating with innovators to develop business opportunities in healthcare that will bring value to patients through non-pharmaceutical products and solutions. Richard has a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Edinburgh and across more than 20 years, he has worked in Pharma, Diagnostics, Med Tech and at a software start-up, giving him a unique and useful perspective as all of these areas rapidly converge.
Richard joined Astellas in 2009 where he has been responsible for Corporate Strategy in the EMEA region, globally from the Japan HQ and most recently headed up Operations and Commercialisation for Astellas' cell-based therapy activities near Boston. After graduating from university, he worked for a foreign-affiliated company before assuming his current position in 2010. The wall that separated the nursing care facility from the community was demolished to create a garden that can be accessed by local residents at any time. We jointly developed a system called "CareCollabo" that connects resident families and nursing care sites using ICT. Opened Kamiyato Nursery School plus, where 0-18 year olds can spend time together regardless of their disabilities. In the spring of 2022, the Kasugadai Center Center, a cultural center for coexistence with the local community, will be opened on the site of a hollowed-out shopping district. After finishing Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Okayama University in 1992, I joined to Nippon Roche Reseach Center as a rerseacher and participated to drug discovery research until 2016 even after moving to Chugai due to a strategic alliance between Roche and Chugai . During this time, I was dispatched to Roche Center for Medical Genetics in Roche Basel in 2002 to conduct biomarker reseach. After moveing to Project Lifecycle Management Unit, I surved as a global project leader in oncology and an R&D network manager, I have been in my current position since 2017. I am working on creating an environment for utilizing external innovation and promoting personalized healthcare.
Lia is a bilingual project manager and translator with experience supporting the growth of early stage startups, with roots in Japan, the United States, South Korea and Colombia. She has a B.A. in Women's and Gender Studies from Wellesley College (Massachusetts, USA), and is passionate about sexual and reproductive health and rights. Previously, at a coworking space and accelerator program based in Boston, she facilitated R&D collaboration between U.S.-based startups and multinational corporations focusing on biotechnological innovation. Lia currently manages global partnerships at Tokyo- and Singapore-based fermata inc., a one-stop market entry facilitator and femtech industry hub.

Yuya Takaku graduated from the School of Physical Education, Health & Sport Sciences, University of Tsukuba in 2018. He completed the Graduate School of Business Administration, Hitotsubashi University. While studying University of Tsukuba, he studied a wide range of Health & Sport Sciences such as a research on sports management in the area of fitness and activities to popularize parasports in Cambodia. He founded the startup company, Sportip Inc, based on the experience that he had to give up playing baseball due to a injury. He was selected for Forbes 30 UNDER 30 JAPAN 2021.
Ms. Tsunoda, the president of vivola Corporation, graduated from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology and joined Sony Corporation in 2009 as a research and development professional.Our company was founded in May 2020 with the business domain of women's healthcare x AI.In the early stages, we are developing services in the area of infertility treatment, which is my own original experience.

I carry out a survey on families from more than 10,000 families every year and publish a report.
In order to creat a society that every family can realize their ideal family, I am also charged of PR using data related to families, including surveys, with the aim of raising interests in families in the world.
Hidekazu graduated from Keio university and joined M3, Inc. in 2010 as the first new graduate and engaged in marketing support for pharmaceutical companies. While leading the conclusion and execution of strategic and comprehensive alliances with multiple pharmaceutical companies, he became involved in increasing the value of investee startups. He joined MICIN and is currently leading business development with pharmaceutical companies utilizing MICIN's platform.
Simon has over 20 years of experience running complex and transformative projects within the NHS and leads Kheiron's largest programme - the AI in Health & Care Award. Passionate about improving patient care and utilising technology as an enabler for change; he has a detailed knowledge and understanding of all aspects of healthcare within the UK. Before joining Kheiron he was the Senior Project Manager within a regional NHS imaging network. He oversaw the successful deployment of a shared PACS and RIS system across 7 NHS Trusts. This facilitated completely new ways of working and image sharing meaning that a patient could be scanned at one hospital and have their image reported by a specialist hundreds of miles away within minutes.
